I’m Andre L. Vaughn and I help creators and entrepreneurs magnify their brand messages through digital marketing. My mission is to help you increase sales and audience growth by having a well-planned digital marketing strategy.
Here’s A Little About My Story:
Around 1997, I learned how to install small DBS satellite systems. I saw this sector becoming huge and steadily growing so I decided to start a satellite installation company.
I learned the ins and outs of being a small business owner and did pretty well for about 6 or 7 years.
The one thing that didn’t quite resonate with me fully was marketing my business but later I understood why. I was doing some of the exact same things that the ‘Big Boys’ were doing but failed miserably doing so.
I didn’t understand my market at the time and was shelling out every dollar that came into the business by wasting it testing a few traditional marketing methods on a not so creative budget. Needless to say, it didn’t last forever but I learned a lot through that experience.
I realized that if a strategic plan was in place my business would have grown tremendously year over year.
In 2006, my life changed for the better when I became a husband and a father. This altered everything for me in a positive way.
At this point, I was still in the satellite business but on my way out so I decided to go back to school around 2007.
I was very fortunate to attend and subsequently graduate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a BS in Information Systems and a BS in Business Administration in 2010.
During those years I became more knowledgeable about digital marketing platforms and strategies but most of all keep up with the changes in fast-developing mediums. I learned as much as I could about effective digital marketing such as personal branding, blogging, social media marketing, SEO, video & email marketing, paid advertising, mobile concepts, podcasting, etc.
I quickly noticed how businesses could benefit from using these methods to grow their audiences and sales. I studied for hours how to implement this technology to enhance the growth prospects of businesses, creators, and entrepreneurs.
What’s really exciting is the cost-effectiveness and ease of implementation for each marketing channel when going in depth.
Being so enthusiastic about the medium, I become a first-time author with “Social Media Simple Marketing” in 2016.
Wanting to help others on a personal level, I shared business and life experiences by contributing to sites such as Addicted2Success, The Good Men Project, and Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global.
Also in 2019, I founded ALV Digital Marketing which is an agency where we execute digital marketing coaching & consulting for creators and entrepreneurs with small to medium-sized businesses.
And in 2022 I FINALLY did something that I’ve always wanted to do by becoming a Podcast Host and releasing Two Shows: Digital Marketing Creators & Niche Blogging Tips. These shows can also be heard on all the major podcast directories or where ever you listen to your podcasts.
Today I’ve developed into a problem solver by combining core aspects of digital marketing like data-driven marketing (conversion rates) and traditional marketing with other methods such as storytelling to convert audience growth into leads and sales.
